      If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we offer you a 30 day return service free of charge. However all items must be returned to us in a saleable condition. They must be returned unused and in their original, undamaged packaging.

      Please contact our customer service before you return your products. They will be glad to further assist you.

    • Can I return my products at all times?

      We offer you a 30 day return service free of charge.

      When and if returning your products, please consider the following terms and conditions:

      • - Cosmetic products (cream, make-up, lotion, gel, shampoo, shower foam, etcetera.) may only be returned unopened and in their original packaging for hygienic reasons. Unfortunately we will not take back any opened containers, jars, tubes or bottles.
      • - We will only be able to accept returns on clothing when they have not been worn, soiled or washed and only if the original price tags are still attached. Underwear can only be returned in unopened packaging.
      • - We are able to process your returns and exchanges only when the order is returned to us in saleable condition, in original packaging and in a sturdy return box, faulty products excluded. We reserve the right to refuse returns that show wear and tear or other damage inflicted by the customer.

    • How do I return or exchange my product(s)?

      Does your product meet the conditions required for an exchange or return? If so:

      • After submitting the form our customer service will register your return. You will receive an e-mail within 5 working days. This e-mail contains the return address and a unique ticketnumber to return your order.

    • How long will it take to receive my refund?

      As soon as your return order has been accepted we will refund your money within 14 days.

      The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method.

    • What is a statutory guarantee?

      A statutory guarantee means that the article purchased must fulfil the function that can reasonably be expected of it. There is no statutory deadline associated with this guarantee because what you as a consumer can expect is different for each item.

    • Right of revocation

      Concerning the delivery of products:

      1. The consumer has the option further to the purchase of products to dissolve the agreement within a period of 14 days without having to state the reasons. This reconsideration period will commence on the day following the day upon which the product is received by the consumer or by a representative as appointed by the consumer and made known to the entrepreneur in advance.

      2. The consumer will handle the product and the packaging with due care during the reconsideration period. The consumer will only remove the packaging or use the product insofar as necessary in order to assess whether he/she wishes to keep the product. If the consumer wishes to exercise the right of revocation, then he/she will return the product to the entrepreneur with all of the accessories and - if reasonably possible - in its original state and packaging, such in accordance with the reasonable and clear instructions as provided by the entrepreneur.


      Concerning the provision of services:

      3. The consumer has the option further to the provision of services to dissolve the agreement within a period of 14 days, starting on the day upon which the agreement is concluded, without having to state the reasons.

      4. Upon exercising the right of revocation, the consumer will observe the reasonable and clear instructions as provided by the entrepreneur to that end at the time of the offer and/or not later than upon delivery.

    • How does it work?

      Placing your order at RITUALS... is designed to be convenient and may be done in two different ways: as a guest or by means of registration.

      Guest

      When you prefer to place an order as a guest there is no need for registration and your details will not be recorded for future reference. However, this means that you will have to fill out all your details again every time you place an online order.

      Registration

      If you opt for registration for future convenience you will be asked to create an account during the ordering process. All you need to do is follow the instructions on your screen. Of course you can also choose to create an account first and order your products afterwards.

      To create an account click on the header: “Log in” on the right at the top of this page. Then press the button “Create an account” and you will be asked to fill out your personal details. As soon as you have completed the creation of your account you’re all set to go!

      Follow the steps below to find out how to place your order:

      Step 1: Click on the product you wish to purchase and click the button “place in shopping basket”

      Step 2: Click on “continue my order & proceed to payment” (or “continue shopping” if you would like to purchase more products)

      Step 3: Check your order and choose our gift service option if you would like your order to be gift wrapped. Now click the button “submit my order”

      Step 4: Log in with your account information, create a new account or choose to place your order as a guest.

      Step 5: Fill out your billing and/or delivery address.

      Step 6: If your delivery address is different from your billing address please fill out your delivery address here. Now choose your payment option.

      Step 7: Finalise your order by pressing the button “submit order” and proceed with payment. All prices include VAT.

      Whether it is a gift for a friend or you simply love to receive your products all wrapped up, we take care of all your needs!

      If you have multiple products you wish to be gift wrapped you can either choose to have them wrapped in one package or separately. Adding a personal message is another great service we offer at a small extra charge only (€ 1,50).

    • How do I use a coupon code online?

      (or: promotional code, discount code) Using your coupon code online is very easy! Go to your shopping cart and start the checkout process. You will now be able to enter your coupon code in the designated field. Press the link submit and the discount will be deducted from the total amount of your purchase (shipping rate not included).

    • I forgot my password, what should I do?

      Click on this link and follow the instructions. We will then send you an email with a special link that enables you to change your password.     • How natural are our products?

      Amongst other things, we make use of natural, sustainable, and organic ingredients. For everything that nature cannot provide, we use safe alternatives.

    • Do we use parabens?

      Rituals products contain no parabens!

    • Where are our products manufactured?

      All cosmetic products are produced by specialised laboratories and high-end cosmetics companies in Europe.

    • Do the products contain plastic scrub microbeads?

      All Rituals products are 100% free of plastic scrub microbeads!

    • Are our products tested on animals?

      No, we never test any of our products or ingredients on animals, and we don't ask any third parties to perform animal testing for us. Rituals is included on the list of brands satisfying the non-animal-testing criteria of the Proefdiervrij foundation (anti-animal-testing organisation; https://proefdiervrij.nl/merken-overzicht/).

    • What happened to the Precious foundations numbers?

      We work hard to ensure that we offer high-quality products. For this reason, we have decided to change the SPF factor from 10 to 15. The new foundation now has a new and improved formula resulting in new colours.
      Our store colleagues are happy to help you choose the shade of foundation that suits you best. They’re also ready to give you advice regarding the ingredients and the application of our make-up.

    • To continually surprise our customers we strive to update and improve our extensive product collection on a regular basis. Finding out that your favorite product is no longer available however, can be disappointing. That is why we have recently created the Outlet category. The Outlet contains a lot of old favorite products so you can continue to enjoy the little moments of happiness they bring. Have a look at the online Outlet Store now!

    • What happened to Fujiyama, Eau d’Orange, Touch of Heaven and Mandarin Delight?

      Many of these products have been updated, improved and make up the majority of our ‘Laughing Buddha’ product line. Ingredients of Chinese Yuzu and Cedar combined with the traditional symbols of good luck (Sweet Orange and Organic Mandarin) dominate this new collection. For example, the scent of Fujiyama shower foam is identical to the Happy Buddha version for which we have used the same ingredients. (Yuzu, Mandarin and Mint)

    • The Happy Buddha shower gel smells different from how it used to smell. Why is that?

      We are continually innovating, and working to further improve our products in order to keep our fans happy and to constantly surprise them. We recently took another look at our Laughing Buddha line. This collection previously had two fragrance themes. We decided to reduce this to just one main fragrance, with Sweet Orange and Cedar as the main ingredients. The sparkling fragrance of Sweet Orange and the purifying powers of Cedar ensure a unique and delicious experience.

    • What's happened to the Mandarin Bliss stick and spray?

      To enable us to keep our fans happy and to constantly surprise them, we continually update and improve our products. Sometimes this means that we discontinue some of our existing products. We have removed the deodorant Mandarin Bliss - stick and spray - from the full range.

    • What's happened to the products in the Sacred Fire collection?

      The fragrances and products of the Sacred Fire collection formed part of the Limited Edition range from the recent winter.

    • What's happened to the Sun Care SPF 15 transparent spray?

      To enable us to keep our fans happy and to constantly surprise them, we continually update and improve our products. Sometimes this means the discontinuation of existing products, as is the case with the Sun Care Transparent Spray 15. This has been replaced with the new SPF 20 milky spray containing Ginkgo Biloba and organic White Tea. These ingredients stimulate the natural production of collagen and protect the skin. Our Sun Care products also contain natural vitamin E, which protects your skin against UV rays. Our Sun Care products are suitable for all ages, from 1.5 years old.

    • What's happened to the T’ai Chi with White Lotus and Green Tea? 

      To continually surprise our customers we strive to update and improve our extensive product collection on a regular basis. Sometimes this means the discontinuation of existing products, as is the case with T’ai Chi with the ingredients White Lotus and Green Tea.

    • What happened to Touch of Hammam?

      The Hammam collection is known for its aromatic and revitalising characteristics, which it gets from refreshing Eucalyptus and Rosemary. The Touch of Hammam body cream has a different fragrance experience than the other products in this line. For this reason we took another look at the entire Hammam collection and we decided to remove the body cream from the line. The Hammam line has also been given a brand new look.

    • Sun Protection Face Cream

      The Sun Protection Face Cream products have been specially developed to protect your face from the sun. These products offer complete care for the face, so you don't need to use other face care products as well. The skin on your face is thinner and therefore needs more nourishment. The Sun Protection Face Cream products have a soft, smooth structure which makes them pleasant to apply. The Aloe Vera extracts have a calming and soothing effect, which is exactly what your skin needs after exposure to sunlight.

    • I can't find the Wai Wang scrub any more

      The Wai Wang scrub is now available in a jar. We have also improved and modified the formulation. The scrub is based on fine bamboo particles and is therefore less intense than a salt or sugar scrub. The scrub has a cream base and produces a light foam. You can therefore use Wai Wang two to three times a week.
